Effective date: October 1, 2026
These Terms of Service govern the use of PoliceReputation.com, operated by 613 Forensic Services ("the Company"). By submitting a request or engaging the Company's services, you agree to these Terms.
All sales are final. Once an engagement is confirmed and work has begun, fees are non-refundable.
1Nature of the Services
The Company provides reputation assessment, documentation, content development, correction and policy-based removal requests, and monitoring. The Company is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Where a matter calls for legal counsel, the Company refers the client to a licensed attorney.
2Eligibility and client representations
You must be 18 or older. You represent that you are the named person or an immediate family member acting with that person's knowledge, that the information you provide is accurate, and that the engagement does not involve a sustained finding of excessive force, dishonesty, sexual misconduct, or abuse of a person in custody. The Company may decline or terminate any engagement that conflicts with this standard.
3Confidentiality
The Company does not disclose any client information to any agency, employer, union, journalist, or third party except as required by law or with the client's written direction. A written confidentiality agreement is signed at intake.
4No guarantee of results
Third-party platforms, publishers, and sites operate under their own policies. The Company makes no representation that any item will be corrected, removed, de-indexed, or re-ranked. The Company guarantees only that the work described in the selected plan will be performed on schedule and documented.
5Fees, payment, and all sales final
Fees are flat as stated. Installments are a convenience and do not reduce the total owed. Payment is due before work begins unless an installment schedule is agreed in writing. All sales are final once the engagement is confirmed and work has begun, including where results differ from expectations, where third parties decline a request, or where the client discontinues early. The only exception is a full return of payment if the Company declines the engagement under Section 2 before any work begins. Monitoring subscriptions renew monthly, may be cancelled for the following month, and the month in progress is not refunded.
6Client cooperation and approval
Timelines depend on timely responses and approvals. Nothing is published under the client's name without approval. Client delays extend the schedule and do not entitle a refund.
7Lawful methods
The Company uses only content the client owns or approves, publisher and platform policies, statutory opt-outs, and documentation for counsel. The Company does not create false identities or reviews, does not impersonate, does not contact journalists under false pretenses, does not interfere with investigations, and does not alter official records. Any such request is refused and may result in termination without refund.
8Intellectual property
Reports are for the client's personal use. Created content is assigned to the client on full payment. Site design, text, and samples belong to the Company.
9Limitation of liability
The Company's total liability is limited to the fees paid for the Service at issue. The Company is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, or for the actions of third-party platforms or publishers.
10Indemnity
The client indemnifies the Company for false or unauthorized information provided by the client.
11Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by California law. Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration in Los Angeles County before a single arbitrator, with a small-claims carve-out, and a class-action waiver.
12Changes
Changes to these Terms are posted with a new effective date.
